Areas in the Midlands have featured in a list of the worst places to live in the UK.<\/p>\n

According to a new study, towns and cities across the Midlands are some of the least desirable places to live.<\/p>\n

Analysts looked at data in order to compile the list of 294 local authority areas.<\/p>\n

This included crime rates, house prices, schools and NHS<\/a> access.<\/p>\n

The worst area to live in the West Midlands was named as Walsall – which is also one of the worst in Britain.<\/p>\n

Birmingham, Solihull, Sandwell, Derby, Leicester, and Coventry featured in the list.<\/p>\n

The 11 worst places to live in the Midlands<\/strong><\/p>\n

Derby – 290th place<\/p>\n

Walsall<\/a> – 278<\/p>\n

Leicester – 273<\/p>\n

Tamworth<\/a> – 273<\/p>\n

Solihull<\/a> – 269<\/p>\n

Birmingham<\/a> – 265<\/p>\n

Nottingham – 261<\/p>\n

Sandwell<\/a> – 259<\/p>\n

Coventry – 255<\/p>\n

Wolverhampton – 252<\/p>\n

Telford and Wrekin – 240<\/p>\n
