It\u2019s official: Prince Harry is out the door as long as Sentebale is concerned. The charity\u2019s chairwoman Sophie Chandauka is already making plans on how to drive the charity forward in the light of its original co-founders\u2019 departure.<\/p>\n

However, invoking Princess Diana\u2019s memory as a way to describe the charity\u2019s goal may have ruffled more Harry feathers than is necessary.<\/p>\n

What Did Sophie Chandauka Say About Honoring Princess Diana With Sentebale\u2019s Future Goals <\/p>\n

Prince Harry, Prince Seeiso and Sentebale\u2019s Zimbabwean-born<\/a> chairwoman Sophie Chandauka\u2019s clash was one for the books. However, when all is said and done, \u201cdevastated\u201d was the one word Harry reportedly used to describe the loss of the charity he co-founded in 2006, alongside Seeiso.<\/p>\n

At the time, the Princes revealed that the charity was created to keep their late mother\u2019s loving memories alive, in addition to helping the children living with HIV\/AIDS in Lesotho and Botswana.<\/p>\n

Whilst Harry and Seeiso are no longer on the mission\u2019s board<\/a>, Chandauka believes it remains essential to honor the true spirit of the charity.<\/p>\n

\u201cDespite the recent turbulence, we will always be inspired by the vision of our founders, Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso, who established Sentebale in memory of their precious mothers, Princess Diana and Queen \u2018Mamohato,\u201d Chandauka wrote in a statement.<\/p>\n

Even though it\u2019s supposed to come across as a hearty homage to the charity\u2019s original spirit, Harry was said to have held it in \u201cpoor taste,\u201d seeing that she categorically destroyed his life\u2019s work.<\/p>\n

Prince Harry Source Reacts To Sophie Chandauka\u2019s Princess Diana Homage <\/p>\n

Per a source close to Harry, the Duke would have no performative nonsense linked to his mother\u2019s memory.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s got what she wants, which is control of the charity, but unfortunately the people who suffer most out of all of this\u2026 are the children of Lesotho and Botswana,\u201d the source told the Telegraph, adding, \u201cThe most devastating thing for Prince Harry in all of this is that his life\u2019s work and all the money he was able to pump into Lesotho and Botswana through his work has gone down in flames.\u201d<\/p>\n
