Everton managed to put another point on the board with their draw against Arsenal on Saturday. <\/strong><\/p>\n

It is another point closer to Premier League safety for David Moyes<\/a> and his side following their Merseyside Derby loss during the week. <\/p>\n

Moyes delivered Everton a big half-time pep talk<\/a> after what was a dismal opening half from the Toffees. <\/p>\n

Everton<\/a> fans will consider themselves all but safe from the drop with just eight games remaining in the 2024\/25 campaign. <\/p>\n

This is something which Moyes has been keen to avoid commenting on until it is mathematically confirmed.<\/p>\n

But the 61-year-old clearly was in a relaxed mood after the game on Saturday as he discussed his plans for the coming days. <\/p>\n

Everton are hoping for big revenue boosts from their new stadium<\/a> with the move set to take place over the summer. <\/p>\n

However, this has all been based off the Toffees maintaining their Premier League status for the 2025\/26 campaign.<\/p>\n

Speaking after the match on Saturday, Moyes admitted he is finally going to visit Bramley-Moore Dock<\/a>, having claimed he\u2019d avoid until Everton were mathematically safe. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve done a pretty good job. We are just about there, not mathematically, but just about clear of being a Premier League team,\u201d he said to TNT Sports. <\/p>\n

\u201cI will probably visit the stadium this week now that I am feeling that way.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tim Howard was wowed by Bramley-Moore Dock<\/a> when he recently visited the stadium following the second test event to be held. <\/p>\n

Everton fans will be hoping for a similar reaction to come from Moyes who is clearly considering his side safe. <\/p>\n

Everton are almost mathematically safe<\/p>\n

With just eight games to go, Everton are ending Saturday sitting 15 points clear of Ipswich Town who occupy the final relegation spot. <\/p>\n

On the unlikely basis Ipswich were to win all of their final eight games, Everton would require another nine points to secure mathematical safety.<\/p>\n

However, the Tractor Boys have won just four games all season, so it is extremely unlikely Everton will need anything close to nine points. <\/p>\n
