{"id":342822,"date":"2025-08-14T03:21:21","date_gmt":"2025-08-14T03:21:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/342822\/"},"modified":"2025-08-14T03:21:21","modified_gmt":"2025-08-14T03:21:21","slug":"man-in-court-following-brislington-assault-investigation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/342822\/","title":{"rendered":"Man in court following Brislington assault investigation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 19-year-old will appear in court today following an assault in Bristol.<\/p>\n<p>Bert Baker, of Wootton Road in St Annes, was charged overnight with having a corrosive substance in a public place and throwing a corrosive fluid with intent to burn or maim.<\/p>\n<p>The charge follows a police investigation into an incident which occurred in Birchwood Road, Brislington, on Monday 11 August.<\/p>\n<p>A teenage boy was taken to hospital after a substance was sprayed at him. He has since been discharged and is being supported by officers.<\/p>\n<p>Baker has been remanded into police custody and will appear at Bristol Magistrates\u2019 Court today (Wednesday 13 August).\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A 19-year-old will appear in court today following an assault in Bristol.
