Last month\u00a0Meet in the Midi, Hackney\u2019s<\/a> new community-focused listening party, hosted an intimate session celebrating the music of UK dance and dubstep pioneer Skream.<\/p>\n

If you missed it\u2026 well, you really did miss out \u2013 the night was incredible. But don\u2019t worry, because next week\u00a0Meet in the Midi returns to The BBE Store with a fresh session, this time shining the spotlight on UK soul and alt-R&B star Cleo Sol.<\/p>\n

Each edition blends music with in-depth discussion. Expect sounds and musings from Soho Radio\u2019s Karim Bitar<\/a> between 8-9PM, before an all-vinyl set from female DJ duo Let Me Cry<\/a> from 9-11PM. There\u2019s also a bar and plenty of opportunity to mingle amongst others so if you\u2019re going alone, you\u2019ll be in great company.<\/p>\n

And if one dose of Cleo isn\u2019t enough (trust, we\u2019d get it), she\u2019s also headlining\u00a0All Points East<\/a>\u00a0this Friday at Victoria Park alongside SAULT, Nao, Sasha Keable and other powerhouses.<\/p>\n
