Dele Alli has been asked to choose an ideal five-a-side team from the players he played with over the course of his career, and the team is dominated by his former Tottenham teammates.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dele<\/a> was a key part of the Mauricio Pochettino<\/a> revolution at Tottenham Hotspur<\/a>, with the attacking midfielder being part of a Spurs side stacked with world-class talent.<\/p>\n

The team came close to winning the biggest honours in the game, and one can argue that it is among the best sides ever assembled to have not won silverware.<\/p>\n

The midfielder, who is now looking to get his career back on track at Como, understandably has fond memories of his time at N17 and the players he shared a dressing room with, naming several of them in his dream side.<\/p>\n

The 29-year-old has played with some big names for England, but he chose to name four of his former Tottenham teammates in his dream five-a-side team.<\/p>\n

Hugo Lloris, Kyle Walker, Mousa Dembele and Harry Kane<\/a> were the four Spurs representatives, while the midfielder also named one of his former Three Lions teammates to round out the side.<\/p>\n

When asked to pick a five-a-side team consisting of former teammates, Dele told TuttoMercatoWeb<\/a>: \u201cI put Hugo Lloris in goal. In defence, Kyle Walker. Mousa Demb\u00e9l\u00e9 must be there. Harry Kane.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s becoming a Tottenham team, isn\u2019t it? Only one is missing, who do I put in? I would say Jadon Sancho. He grew up playing football in the street like me. He would be the perfect addition to the team.\u201d<\/p>\n

Two surprising Tottenham omissions in Dele\u2019s side<\/p>\n

One can understand why Dele named Kyle Walker as his defender, given the former Spurs man\u2019s recovery pace.<\/p>\n

However, many will feel that Jan Vertonghen<\/a> may be more deserving of a place, given his ability on the ball and the consistency he showed across his time in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

Dele\u2019s good friend, Heung-min Son<\/a>, is perhaps also a surprise omission, especially given the understanding the South Korean has with Harry Kane.<\/p>\n
