Lukas Nmecha may even be used first.

Calvert-Lewin’s condition is under the microscope, with the England international renowned for his injury issues. Of course, having left Everton on a free transfer, he has not had a pre-season to get prepared.

It may well be a week or two before Farke can consider using Calvert-Lewin from the start, but there is every chance Calvert-Lewin may be used off the bench. He did last season and while he has never played in the Premier League, Daniel Farke said Piroe was the best finisher in the Championship.

Lukas Nmecha may well come in to the side if Piroe struggles to cope with the Premier League, with this being a big step up for Leeds’ no.10.
