Strategic Partner sought for Blochairn Housing Association<\/strong><\/p>\n Blochairn Housing Association (BHA) is a Registered Social Landlord (RSL), charity and property factor operating in and around Blochairn Place in Royston, Glasgow. \u00a0BHA owns and manages 294 homes, factors 31 properties and employs 5 members of staff.<\/p>\n BHA is currently engaging with the Scottish Housing Regulator (SHR) about governance, financial management, planned organisational changes and tenant and resident safety. BHA have been working hard to resolve these issues and to determine our assets and liabilities. However, over the last six months, BHA has identified additional and longstanding governance, health and safety and asset management issues. As a result, BHA is accelerating its transfer plans and seeking a strategic partner.<\/p>\n This would be a formal partnership in the shape of a transfer of engagements to an RSL or via an innovative multi-partner approach.<\/p>\n The ability to provide immediate assistance at the time the preferred partner is appointed will be a prerequisite to selection.<\/strong><\/p>\n We invite charitable RSLs, registered with and regulated by the SHR, to submit an Expression of Interest by emailing our Interim Director no later than noon<\/strong> on Friday 29 August 2025<\/strong>. A prospectus will then be issued to interested parties setting out the next stage in the process.<\/p>\n
