Manchester United attacker Bryan Mbeumo has admitted he will be happy to play in any position ahead of Sunday’s Premier League<\/a> opener against Arsenal at Old Trafford<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Cameroonian is poised to make his competitive debut for the Reds after arriving from Brentford for an initial fee of \u00a365million last month. He featured in United’s<\/a> final two pre-season friendlies, starting the draws with Everton and Fiorentina.<\/p>\n

After needing to build up his match sharpness after arriving from Brentford, Mbeumo<\/a> started both of the aforementioned fixtures as the right-sided No.10. Fellow summer signing Matheus Cunha also started both games, starting the 2-2 draw with Everton up front and the 1-1 stalemate with Fiorentina as the left-sided No.10.<\/p>\n

There is a strong likelihood latest summer recruit Benjamin Sesko<\/a> will join the aforementioned duo in attack against the Gunners, meaning Mbeumo is poised to occupy the right-sided No.10 spot.<\/p>\n

The former Troyes man went up front in the second half against Fiorentina.<\/p>\n

Offering a sense of versatility, both through the middle and out wide, Mbeumo is only too happy to play wherever head coach Ruben Amorim needs him to.<\/p>\n

Sky has slashed the price of its Essential TV and Sky Sports<\/a> bundle ahead of the 2025\/26 season, saving members \u00a3192 and offering more than 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL and more.<\/p>\n

Sky will show at least 215 live Premier League games next season, an increase of up to 100 more.<\/p>\n

“I think it’s the mentality and the joy he brings into the trainings,” Mbeumo said of Amorim, speaking to TNT Sports<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“I think he’s someone who likes to give energy on the pitch, even sometimes some smiles and stuff. So I think it’s really cool to work [with him].<\/p>\n

“Cunha is a really good player, it’s good that we could share some trainings on the pitch together because it’s always important to have good automatisms in the team, and a strong link in front.<\/p>\n

“[We’ve been doing] some striker works, some forward works. I think we still have some freedom up front, but there are some principles to respect.<\/p>\n

“I don’t expect anything [in terms of playing positions]. I think obviously it’s going to be the manager’s choice to play the players.<\/p>\n

“Obviously I think it’s important to be able to play different positions, so I’m going to be playing wherever I can.”<\/p>\n

Asked if Amorim has set him any personal targets for the coming season, Mbeumo added: “No, he didn’t. I didn’t either, I don’t like to put any limits on myself, so I don’t think about this.”<\/p>\n
