Late Night Lycett and The Misadventures of Romesh Ranganathan indie Rumpus Media is not actively seeking a head of entertainment following the departure of incumbent Adeel Amini, Broadcast understands.<\/p>\n

The Lingo exec has returned to the freelancing and was revealed as the series editor of South Shore\u2019s upcoming ITV1 10-part gameshow tentpole The Floor<\/a> yesterday (13 August).<\/p>\n

Amini had joined the STV Studios label from Objective Media Group a year ago, in the newly created role of head of entertainment<\/a>, having been a series producer for ITV hit game show Lingo.<\/p>\n

STV Studios-owned Rumpus, which this week was revealed as a co-producer on four-part Orient Express documentary<\/a> for Channel 4 with High Rock Media, will continue to develop, pitch and win commissions.<\/p>\n

The label is behind series comedy ents titles Late Night Lycett and The Misadventures of Romesh Ranganathan and currently led by acting managing director Josephine Brassey.<\/p>\n

Returning to \u2018first love\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

Commenting on his forthcoming editor role on The Floor, Amini said in a LinkedIn post that he is \u201cgoing back to my first love of production\u201d with the ITV show.<\/p>\n
