Fans who were at the first show on August 9 \u2013 the band\u2019s first Scottish gig since 2009 \u2013 came away describing the gig <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/fans-react-to-first-oasis-gig-in-scotland-since-2009-a-religious-experience-3883783\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">as akin to \u201ca religious experience\u201d<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The opening night saw <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/fans-react-to-first-oasis-gig-in-scotland-since-2009-a-religious-experience-3883783\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Liam brand the City of Edinburgh council \u201ca bunch of snakes\u201d<\/a>. He said the band were \u201cstill waiting for our apology\u201d from the local authority over a report which suggested the band\u2019s fans would be \u201crowdy\u201d and \u201cintoxicated\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>At another of the shows, opener <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/oasis-live-25-in-cardiff-heres-what-cast-played-in-their-opening-set-3876021\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cast<\/a>\u2019s set was marked by a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/watch-the-moment-the-red-arrows-flew-over-casts-opening-set-for-oasis-in-edinburgh-3883838\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">flyover from the Red Arrows.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Oasis will then head for a pair of performances in Dublin\u2019s Croke Park on August 16 and 17,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/oasis-announce-2025-reunion-tour-dates-in-north-america-and-mexico-buy-tickets-3798246\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">before heading across the Atlantic for the North American tour<\/a>. Dates in Toronto, Chicago, East Rutherford, Pasadena and Mexico City will take them to the middle of September, when they head back for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/oasis-reveal-private-ballot-details-for-extra-wembley-stadium-reunion-shows-3791643\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">two final nights at Wembley<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Later in the year, they play in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/oasis-announce-south-korean-and-japan-dates-for-their-2025-reunion-tour-3814881\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">South Korea, Japan<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/oasis-announce-2025-south-american-reunion-tour-dates-the-brothers-are-coming-buy-tickets-3809661\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Australia, Argentina, Chile and Brazil<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/reviews\/live\/oasis-cardiff-principality-stadium-review-setlist-photos-3876128\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NME\u00a0gave Oasis\u2019 first concert at Cardiff\u2019s Principality Stadium a glowing five-star review<\/a>, writing: \u201cAfter a \u201890s heyday and an often maligned post-millennium era, this is Oasis redesigned for the 21st Century.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPlaying before a pop-art-meets-psychedelia visual spectacular that never distracts but will look sick on a phone, they seem the quintessential stadium band playing the greatest hits of greatest hits,\u201d it added.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/artists\/noel-gallagher\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Noel Gallagher<\/a>\u00a0has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/noel-gallagher-launches-oasis-live-25-gibson-les-paul-with-handwritten-lyric-sheets-the-most-talked-about-guitar-of-the-summer-3884811\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">launched a new Gibson Les Paul,<\/a> designed specifically for the\u00a0Oasis\u00a0\u2018Live 25\u2019 tour.<\/p>\n<p>The axe itself is a Gibson Custom Noel Gallagher Les Paul Standard, which comes in an Ebony finish, lightly aged by the Murphy Lab at the Gibson Custom Shop. It also features nickel Gibson Custom P-90 pickups, Grover tuners, and Noel Gallagher\u2019s preferred SlimTaper neck profile.<\/p>\n<p>Only 25 models have been made available as a very limited collector\u2019s package, carefully curated by Noel and Gibson, and each is hand-signed by Gallagher.
