A Destination X<\/a> contestant has blamed his loss on a “dodgy” task, insisting he was “cheated”.<\/p>\n Josh is one of the six remaining players<\/a> in Rob Brydon’s BBC<\/a> gameshow, as he attempts to win \u00a3100,000 in the reality competition that’s been dubbed a mix of The Traitors and Race Across The World.<\/p>\n While he won an advantage<\/a> in yesterday’s episode, tonight (Thursday 14 August) saw him teamed up in a challenge with record-breaker Nick, and the pair failed to score highly against the others.<\/p>\n When they failed to quickly answer questions about clues they’d seen in Venice, both Josh and Nick attempted to claim it was a faulty buzzer holding them back.<\/p>\n “I feel cheated, the buzzers weren’t working,” Josh fumed. “It wasn’t fair.”<\/p>\n He had been insisting throughout the challenge that the buzzer “wasn’t working” and was “dodgy”.<\/p>\n “I feel like the button was dodgy, I’m pretty sure I pressed it first and I know for a fact I’ve got very good reactions.”<\/p>\n At one point, he even asked host Rob: “Can I have a word? That’s out of order!”<\/p>\n “Get over it Josh, you’re just too slow!” one fan replied on X.<\/p>\n Another said: “Josh blaming the button is hilarious.”<\/p>\n Someone else laughed: “Josh and Nick claiming the buzzer doesn’t work. Sore losers.”<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Josh and Nick’s competitor Darren laughed: “Josh and Nick weren’t very gracious in defeat whatsoever, which made it all the more sweeter. I loved it.”<\/p>\n Ahead of entering the game, Josh feared people would find him “cocky”, saying: “They might think I’m quite cocky but I just believe in self love. If you can’t love yourself, you can’t start to do things.”<\/p>\n The 26-year-old pilot added: “I have a lot of qualities that can help me within the game such as flight training and I also know meteorology and navigation. I’m quite a social person as well.
