Bilal Ali and Moeen Fiaz are the brains behind a <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/walton\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Walton<\/a> venue. <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/whats-on\/whats-on-news\/venue-loved-lfc-players-serving-32213928\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Woffle on County Road<\/a> first opened in July 2022, and back then, it struggled to break even.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Fast-forward to today, and the team is preparing to open their second site in the city after having served Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk, teammate Ryan Gravenberch, manager Arne Slot, as well as former players Trent Alexander-Arnold and Luis Diaz.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Co-founder Bilal Ali, who lives in <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/toxteth\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Toxteth<\/a>, explained <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">to the ECHO<\/a> how the \u201cmad\u201d moment came about. The 37-year-old businessman said: \u201cWe got a call from the Premier League afterparty at 10.30pm telling us the team wanted burgers. One of our mates, his son, is Trent\u2019s best friend, so he rang us asking for food.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">\u201cWhen Trent and the club ask you for burgers, you make them burgers. We took about 60 burgers for them and a lot of sides. They loved them, and we stayed for a bit and enjoyed the party. It was one of the best experiences of my life. (Image: Liverpool ECHO)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">\u201cTo have the players, who just won and are with their family and friends, ask for food, it felt like we accomplished something. These guys are the champions, the best team in the Premier League, it was a mad feeling. I can\u2019t explain it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">At the time, the Woffle team shared footage of the party on its Instagram, which came after the <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/sport\/football\/football-news\/liverpool-crystal-palace-live-stream-31718291\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Reds drew with Crystal Palace<\/a> in May. Besides famous faces, Bilal said they were just as committed to catering for the local community, and it hasn\u2019t gone unnoticed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The eatery has a stellar Uber Eats rating and has been nominated for the food delivery platform&#8217;s 2025 Restaurant of the Year award. (Image: Liverpool ECHO)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Bilal said: \u201cWe knew from the start that we wanted to be the best &#8211; we wanted to open and become the best burger joint in Liverpool.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;I\u2019ve got food experience, and he\u2019s got business experience, so we put pen to paper and here we are today. We are among the best, but we want to keep pushing it. Moeen covered the front, I was in the back, and then we would have an extra. Now there are around 16 of us. We did only 10, maybe 15 orders a week. We easily do a 100 plus on a weekday now.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">\u201cWe have grown organically. We don\u2019t want to move too fast &#8211; we want to be known locally. This is for Liverpool, and that\u2019s how like opportunities to serve burgers to <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/liverpool-fc\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Liverpool Football Club<\/a> came about.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Woffle is preparing to open on Berry Street towards the end of September.
