A new Chinese-inspired coffee shop has officially landed in the heart of Liverpool. HEYTEA was founded in 2012 in a small alley called Jiangbianli in East Asia.<\/a><\/p>\n

Since then, the brand has amassed a loyal following, which has allowed it to expand worldwide, including to America, Malaysia, and Singapore. The company can also be found in several Disneylands. From today, Friday, August 15, the public can find it on Church Street, just a stone\u2019s throw from Primark<\/a>. Moving into the former Carphone Warehouse space, this is the brand\u2019s first venture in Merseyside.<\/p>\n

Customers have been queueing up to sample what the shop has to offer.<\/p>\n

The ECHO<\/a> met with the HEYTEA team ahead of its official opening. Brand manager, Leon Zhao, who is overseeing the team of 20, said: \u201cThis is our 15th store across the UK, but we are very excited for it to be the first in Liverpool, especially in the middle of the city.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe can\u2019t wait for people to fall in love with it. We are an inspirational brand, always trying to bring something new and healthy while still having flavour.<\/p>\n

“We don\u2019t sell anything with artificial colouring, flavouring or ingredients. We pride ourselves on selling products that are real and natural – that is what we are famous for.\u201d<\/p>\n

The brand was born \u201cin a shop of less than 30 square meters\u201d with the team devoting themselves to creating products.<\/p>\n

Starting from a humble alley in a small town, the team said it \u201cdreamed of doing something truly cool: beginning with inspiration, staying committed to quality ingredients, and giving ancient Eastern tea a fresh, modern spirit\u201d.<\/p>\n

On the Liverpool menu, you will find everything from a triple supreme matcha latte to a kale boost tea and a brown sugar bobo milk tea. Also available to order are the TikTok viral cheese tea\u2019s cloud coconut blue and coconut mango boom, which will set you back \u00a35.50 and \u00a35.90, respectively.<\/p>\n

The arrival comes as Sport Direct prepares to land on the same street. The clothing retailer is currently preparing to bid farewell to its long-standing home in Liverpool ONE.<\/a><\/p>\n

The sports equipment and clothing retailer was one of the first companies to open inside the shopping complex in 2008. Signs posted in the North John Street store’s windows inform customers of a 20% off closing-down sale.<\/p>\n
