Hastings recalled when he attended a party hosted by Yuvraj Singh and how he managed to break the table, and there was pin-drop silence. However, Hastings revealed how he went to the reception and sorted out the issue.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was one of those ones where we\u2019d obviously had a few and I think you know we\u2019d obviously been invited up to Yuvi\u2019s (<a rel=\"noamphtml noopener\" class=\"keywordtourl\" href=\"https:\/\/indianexpress.com\/about\/yuvraj-singh\/\" target=\"_blank\">Yuvraj Singh<\/a>) room and walked in and there was a suite. It was massive. It was as big as my house over here. And I remember looking around, I just jeez there\u2019s so many people in here,\u201d said Hastings speaking on LiSTNR sport. <\/p>\n<p><img class=\"lazyloading\" decoding=\"async\" data-lazy-type=\"lazyloading-image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/track_1x1.jpg\" data-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/track_1x1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1px\" height=\"1px\" style=\"display:none;\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat\u2019s going on with this music? So, I was fiddling around with the laptop trying to get some of my playlist on and I sat on the edge of this\u2026 There was a ledge that had a phone on there. There was a laptop, I sat on it and boom off it came down on the floor and I just remember everyone just stopped and looked and went silent, dead quiet, pin could drop,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Story continues below this ad<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just went, \u2018What am I going to do here? I\u2019m a young kid.\u2019 It\u2019s Yuvraj Singh\u2019s room. There are so many people here. There\u2019s probably Bollywood celebrities everywhere, and I just went, \u2018Right, stay calm,\u2019 and I went to the phone, which was already out off the wall, and I\u2019d seen the cord be ripped out of the wall. So, I just thought, I\u2019ll just make sure that I\u2019ve made this right. And there was no one on the end of the line. So, I picked up the phone. I said, \u2018Reception,\u2019 yep. John Hastings, I just want to make sure that there\u2019s a bit of damage in Mr. Singh\u2019s room. I\u2019ll make sure I fix it up. I\u2019m in the room such and such. And everyone was like, \u2018Well done, mate. That\u2019s brilliant.\u2019 And everyone just kicked on, played on,\u201d Hastings recalled.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI actually went down to reception to make sure that I could rectify the situation, but there was never another word. So, happy days.
