The wave of online attacks highlights the polarized opinions surrounding Markle, who stepped back from royal duties alongside Prince Harry in 2020. The backlash was swift and heavily concentrated in the video\u2019s comment section, with users questioning her sincerity and motives.<\/p>\n

But the Duchess is not alone in facing social media hostility.\u00a0<\/p>\n

When Kate Middleton, shared a summer-themed video on her official Instagram account, she too drew sharp criticism, this time from not only Meghan\u2019s supporters, but also from those opposed to the monarchy as an institution.<\/p>\n

Critics accused Kate of imitating Meghan, with one writing, \u201cShe never did this stuff until Meghan.\u201d Others dismissed the production as \u201cridiculous and pointless,\u201d and mocked her workload.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Several even poked fun at her pronunciation of \u201cfruits ripen,\u201d claiming it sounded like \u201cfroops wipen.\u201d<\/p>\n
