It’s the second time we’ve heard that battery size in recent weeks, and compares well to the Galaxy S25, which sports a 6.2-inch screen powered by a 4,000mAh cell. For Samsung fans, the Pro sounds like the best of both worlds, pairing a nice — if not massive — battery upgrade with the same smaller display size that typically fills this entry-level space.

That said, I’m sure some buyers will be disappointed with the company’s continued disinterest in silicon-carbon batteries. While they undoubtedly have downsides — and Samsung has spent much of the last decade being as cautious as possible over its batteries — it’s hard not to compare this fairly-modest 4,300mAh battery with the 6,260mAh one found in the similarly-sized (but China-exclusive) OnePlus 13T.

To that end, it’s still up in the air on how this particular device — clearly a follow-up on this year’s base Galaxy S25, judging by physical size alone — has earned its “Pro” moniker. While new Edge and Ultra models will both immediately have their own obviously unique factors, the Galaxy S26 Pro could either have some new upgrade we haven’t seen in leaks yet, or it could be a simple rebranding to the typical base model experience. Expect plenty of leaks throughout the coming months to fill in those gaps.

More on Samsung:

FTC: We use income earning auto affiliate links. More.

Samsung’s looking to shake up its mainline flagship smartphone series next year, replacing the typical Plus model with…

[3159
547,53,16,15
0":"post-347537","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-mobile","8":"tag-mobile","9":"tag-technology","10":"tag-uk","11":"tag-united-kingdom
["GET
