Gerhard Struber has admitted that he has a \u201cvery good feeling\u201d that Bristol City<\/a> will be able to add one or two new players to their ranks before the transfer deadline, with the Robins hard at work behind the scenes when it comes to further additions this summer.<\/p>\n Over the course of the transfer window so far, the Reds have added four new players to their ranks with Adam Randell, Joe Lumley, Emil Riis<\/a>, and Radek Vitek trading Plymouth Argyle, Southampton, Preston North End, and Manchester United – albeit only on loan – for Ashton Gate respectively.<\/p>\n As of the time of writing, City have also managed to avoid any major departures, with the only high-profile exits seeing Nahki Wells trade BS3 for Luton Town and Marcus McGuane complete a permanent move to Huddersfield Town<\/a>.<\/p>\n READ MORE: Max Bird, Joe Williams, Rob Atkinson: Bristol City team news ahead of Charlton Athletic clash<\/a>READ MORE: Nathan Jones shares ‘wonderful’ Bristol City verdict ahead of Charlton’s Ashton Gate visit<\/a><\/p>\n While the business so far this summer has left Struber\u2019s squad well stocked in the majority of positions, City\u2019s head coach has made no secret of his desire to add another \u201cone or other\u201d player<\/a> to his ranks before the window closes on September 1.<\/p>\n Although the 48-year-old was unable to shed any further light on just who the Robins are targeting ahead of Saturday\u2019s meeting with Charlton Athletic<\/a>, he appeared confident such additions would be made before the month is out.<\/p>\n \u201cNot at the moment, that I could tell you something more,\u201d the head coach responded when asked if he could share any new updates in terms of both incomings and outgoings. \u201cWe are, of course, working behind to bring the one or other player in.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re working in this direction very hard, and we hope we can realise something in the next few days or until the end of the month, so that we can speak clearly with the media.<\/p>\n \u201cI am, at the moment, really happy with the team,” Struber continued. “But at the same time, of course, we work for a little bit more quality, and also, for the team, it is important for the next step,<\/p>\n \u201cA little bit of fresh faces in the dressing room is always good, but we need the right fresh faces and the right players that can improve the style, that can improve our results and our performances.
