{"id":347921,"date":"2025-08-16T01:10:20","date_gmt":"2025-08-16T01:10:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/347921\/"},"modified":"2025-08-16T01:10:20","modified_gmt":"2025-08-16T01:10:20","slug":"red-arrows-vj-day-fly-past-an-hour-early-over-dudley","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/347921\/","title":{"rendered":"Red Arrows VJ Day fly past an hour early over Dudley"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  RAF flying aerobatic team, The Red Arrows,\u00a0flew directly over Stourbridge, Hagley, Wordsley and Kingswinford on their way to the Eastbourne Display from the\u00a0National Memorial Arboretum Flypast to mark the 80th anniversary of VJ Day.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The planes were expected to fly over Wolverhampton at 1.08pm before heading to Eckington for 1.14pm, flying over Dudley in between.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  However, they actually appeared in the sky an hour ahead of schedule.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Instead, the acrobatic planes were spotted closer to 12.10pm, leaving many residents disappointed to have missed the spectacle.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Debbie Wikins said: \u201cI waited on the Orbital in Cannock from 12.50pm &#8211; 1.20pm, based on the original information given so missed them.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Ste Morries added: \u201cFlown over an hour before schedule!!!!
