Two men jumped from a window as police attended an early hours ‘disturbance’ in Tameside<\/a>.<\/p>\n Officers were called out to a property on Market Street<\/a>, in Stalybridge<\/a>, at around 3am this morning (August 16).<\/p>\n Greater Manchester Police<\/a> says it was called out to reports of a disturbance involving a group of men.<\/p>\n One of the two men who jumped as police arrived on the scene was later taken to hospital with serious injuries.<\/p>\n Never miss a story with the MEN’s daily Catch Up newsletter – get it in your inbox by signing up here<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Images from the scene show a large emergency services presence close to Stalybridge bus station.<\/p>\n Several GMP vehicles were seen in attendance, alongside firefighters and ambulances.<\/p>\n A police helicopter was also seen above the area.<\/p>\n Three men – aged 29, 34 and 41 – were all arrested on suspicion of affray in connection with the disturbance.<\/p>\n A GMP spokesperson said: “Officers attended an address on Market Street, Stalybridge, shortly before 3am this morning (August 16) following a disturbance between a group of men.<\/p>\n “Upon arrival, two men jumped from the property\u2019s window, with one sustaining serious injuries.<\/p>\n “He was taken to hospital for treatment where he remains.<\/p>\n
