{"id":349425,"date":"2025-08-16T15:10:12","date_gmt":"2025-08-16T15:10:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/349425\/"},"modified":"2025-08-16T15:10:12","modified_gmt":"2025-08-16T15:10:12","slug":"murder-investigation-launched-after-woman-fatally-assaulted","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/349425\/","title":{"rendered":"Murder investigation launched after woman fatally assaulted"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Metropolitan Police said officers were called Chadwell Heath, east London, just after 5.30am on Saturday after reports of an assault.<\/p>\n<p>Paramedics also attended but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene in Chadwell Heath Lane, the force said.<\/p>\n<p>The woman has not yet been formally identified, police said, but officers believe she was in her twenties.<\/p>\n<p>Her family have been informed and are being supported by family liaison officers, the force added.<\/p>\n<p>No-one has yet been arrested in connection with the incident.<\/p>\n<p>Detective Superintendent Brian Hobbs said: \u201cOur thoughts today are with the victim\u2019s family and friends in light of this truly tragic event.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLocal residents will see an increased number of officers in and around the area while our investigative work is carried out.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want to thank residents for their patience while this continues.
