Former Red Bull driver and F1 race winner Daniel Ricciardo has been treated in hospital for injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash in Australia<\/p>\n

Former F1 star Daniel Ricciardo has been treated<\/a> for minor injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash <\/a>in Australia.<\/p>\n

Reports say that the Aussie was riding a dirt bike in the Australian state of northern Queensland when he suffered a minor collarbone injury.<\/p>\n

The eight-time Grand Prix winner<\/a> is believed to have been riding through the Daintree, the world’s oldest tropical rainforest. Ricciardo was reportedly in good spirits after receiving treatment at Mossman Hospital around 50km away. Details of the crash are limited.<\/p>\n

‘The Honey Badger’ has been out of the spotlight since being dropped from VCARB last year when he was replaced by Liam Lawson following the Singapore Grand Prix.<\/p>\n

Ricciardo, 36, recently attended a conference where he was asked about his life after F1. He said: \u201cWell, I haven\u2019t been shaving my face. The beard is my comfort right now.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis year has been a bit of self-exploration. I lived this crazy high-speed life for so long, and this year I\u2019ve sat into a little bit of stillness.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve had a lot of time, I\u2019ve done some hiking. I was in Alaska a few weeks ago and didn\u2019t get mauled by a grizzly, which was a bonus.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been trying to figure out who I am other than this racecar driver. I\u2019ve come to appreciate the little things more and the meaning of the importance of family and friends.<\/p>\n
