Even so, there are price cuts to be found for the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus available now. But, remember that when the iPhone 17 Pro is announced, traditionally Apple cuts the prices of those phones that remain in the range. That said, it is almost always a $100 or £100 price cut, so the deals below mean you’re getting the discount early.

Here are some of the best bargains currently — let’s start with the Pro models.

Electrical retail giant Currys is selling the iPhone 16 Pro with 128GB storage for £899 ($1,220), which is £100 ($135) down on the regular sticker price. The same £100 off applies to the 256GB model, which is £999 ($1,356) instead of Apple’s £1,099 ($1,491) price. Same deal for the 512GB model, £1,199 ($1,627), instead of the £1,299 ($1,762) you’ll pay Apple.

The iPhone 16 Pro with 1TB costs £1,399 ($1,899), against Apple’s usual £1,499 ($2,034) price.

Meanwhile, John Lewis has similar prices, that is £899 ($1,220), for the 128GB model, £999 ($1,356) instead of Apple’s £1,099 ($1,491) price for the 256GB model, £1,199 ($1,627) for 512GB and £1,399 ($1,899) for the model with 1TB storage on board.

If either of these retailers is sold out, there’s another retailer that is currently matching all these prices to the penny: Argos.

Currys, John Lewis and Argos are uniform on their prices when it comes to the larger-sized iPhone 16 Pro Max. The model with 256GB storage, which is £1,199 ($1,627) at Apple, costs £100 ($135) less, £1,099 ($1,491), at all three retailers.

For the 512GB storage, £1,399 ($1,899) at Apple, you’ll pay £1,299 ($1,762) at John Lewis, Currys and Argos.

For the 1TB storage model, which costs £1,599 ($2,170) at Apple, all three retailers have a £100 ($135) discount, taking the price to £1,499 ($2,034).

So, how about prices for the non-Pro iPhones? Well, buying the iPhone 16 with 128GB storage from Apple costs £799 ($1,084) but Currys has the phone for £100 (£135) less, that is £699 ($948.60). Worth noting is that Currys has its own names for the colors! Black, white and pink are the same names Apple uses, but for some reason, Currys has called ultramarine blue, while teal is listed as green.

John Lewis has the same phone for the same price, £699 ($948.60) for teal, white and ultramarine — it gets the colors right — but pink and black are £1 ($1.35) less at £698 ($947.65). Argos matches the Currys prices.

For the larger storage model, 256GB, iPhone 16 costs £899 ($1,220) at Apple, but £799 ($1,084) at John Lewis. Apart, again, from the pink and black options, which are £798 ($1,083). Currys has the phones for £799 ($1,084) in all colors, and Argos matches those prices to the penny.

Then there’s the 512GB model, which costs £1,099 ($1,491) from Apple. You’ve spotted the pattern here: it’s £100 ($135) off, checking in at £999 ($1,356). You can pick it up for this price at John Lewis, Argos and Currys.

The larger-screened iPhone 16 Plus, which will also stay in the range after the new phones are announced in September, looks like being the last Plus model. So if you want a bigger screen without the price premium the Pro phones command, this could be for you.

It’s for sale from Apple for £899 ($1,220), and has the same £100 ($135) discount at Currys, John Lewis and Argos, meaning you can snag it for £799 ($1,084).

The 256GB model is £899 ($1,220) from Argos and Currys, while John Lewis has it for £898 ($1,28.60) for the teal color and £899 ($1,220) for the others. All are around £100 ($135) than Apple’s price of £999 ($1,356).

Finally, iPhone 16 Plus with 512GB storage, which costs £1,199 ($1,627) at Apple Stores, is £1,099 ($1,491) at Argos, Currys and John Lewis. Mathematical prodigies and the clairvoyant will have spotted that these prices are £100 ($135) less than Apple’s.

ForbesApple iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro Release Date: Your Complete CountdownBy David Phelan

Updated Aug. 16 with more details of price offers for iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, alongside iPhone…

[7
1662,123903,123905,1666,94575,123904,23820,53,16,15
0":"post-350360","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-technology","8":"tag-apple","9":"tag-apple-iphone-16-pro-max","10":"tag-best-iphone-deals","11":"tag-iphone","12":"tag-iphone-16-pro-max","13":"tag-iphone-16-pro-price-cut","14":"tag-iphone-17","15":"tag-technology","16":"tag-uk","17":"tag-united-kingdom
["GET
