\n A 36-year-old man has been arrested following this incident.\n<\/p>\n
\n He remains in police custody.\n<\/p>\n
\n The police are investigating the circumstances, and a police cordon is in place.\n<\/p>\n

\n A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: \u201cPolice were called at 05:38hrs on Say, 16 August to reports of a stabbing in New Cross Road, SE14.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cMet officers attended the scene alongside London Ambulance Service, where they found a 55-year-old man suffering from stab wound injuries.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cHe was taken to hospital where his condition has been assessed as neither life-changing nor life-threatening.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cA scene is in place while police investigate the circumstances.\n<\/p>\n
