You just buy like a random person&#8217;s random parcels. I&#8217;m gonna do it.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">&#8216;Look at all these parcels. Oh my God, sorry. It&#8217;s like a little gaming thing. See, it&#8217;s like a little game console.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">&#8216;That&#8217;s actually really cute for three euros. I&#8217;m actually going to get another one because, like, I&#8217;m still in the shop, but I think I&#8217;m going to get another one because it&#8217;s, like, really, really exciting thing, and we&#8217;ve so excited.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Melika&#8217;s other parcels contained what she thought were spare car keys and an LED\u00a0strip.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">When opening her last box, which included what she believed was a light device,\u00a0Melika admitted: &#8216;No idea what that is, but yeah, so that was that parcel, which was quite interesting.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Those in the comments were quick to question whether buying unclaimed parcels is legal. In the UK at least, delivery companies can sell items but can only do so after a reasonable amount of time and effort has gone in to track down and contact rightful owners.<\/p>\n<p>   <img decoding=\"async\" id=\"i-1747d6ebf5f4e877\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/101280751-15006127-image-m-18_1755348766116.jpg\" height=\"1006\" width=\"634\" alt=\"The mystery packages - from a variety of retailers like Amazon, eBay and Temu - aren't allowed to be opened before purchase, and can't be returned, local media reported\" class=\"blkBorder img-share\" style=\"max-width:100%\" loading=\"lazy\" \/>   <\/p>\n<p class=\"imageCaption\">The mystery packages &#8211; from a variety of retailers like Amazon, eBay and Temu &#8211; aren&#8217;t allowed to be opened before purchase, and can&#8217;t be returned, local media reported<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Last year, a\u00a0woman who bought a box of lost parcels for\u00a0\u00a3106 revealed how she bagged nearly \u00a31000 worth of goodies, including a Michael Kors bag, an expensive silk top and Adidas trainers.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Becky Chorlton, from Lymm in Cheshire, bought the stray packages from a company called Unboxing Heaven, a third party company who sell on lost <a style=\"font-weight: bold;\" target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/royal_mail\/index.html\" id=\"mol-5d9b5ca0-3840-11ef-8ee3-3534cf502785\" rel=\"noopener\">Royal Mail<\/a> packages.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The content creator, who is known for her thrifty tips and tricks, often posts about finding hidden gems at charity shops or car boot sales.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">In July 2024, she posted clips of her opening lost luggage from <a style=\"font-weight: bold;\" target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/heathrow-airport\/index.html\" id=\"mol-fd026870-378b-11ef-ae1f-9b70a726a1f8\" rel=\"noopener\">Heathrow<\/a>\u00a0Airport, returns from Amazon and mystery boxes from various websites.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The first thing she opened was a parcel from Stone Island and it was a simple black sweatshirt with the logo on the sleeve, a video posted to her <a style=\"font-weight: bold;\" target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/tvshowbiz\/tiktok\/index.html\" id=\"mol-5d9c6e10-3840-11ef-8ee3-3534cf502785\" rel=\"noopener\">TikTok<\/a> showed.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">But Becky put it into a website called Certilogo, which checks the authenticity of a product, and the garment turned out to be fake.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">She then unwrapped the next box and it was a nail set from Sassy Saints, which retails for around \u00a369 meaning she had made more than half of her money back already.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The influencer then opened the next package, which turned out to be a teddy bear from the horror series Murder Drones.
