Manor Solomon should be a \u201cpriority\u201d signing for Leeds United this summer as they weigh up a \u00a320million move elsewhere.<\/strong><\/p>\n Speaking on the new edition of\u00a0Football Insider\u2019s Inside Track podcast<\/strong><\/a>, former Leeds, Tottenham and England goalkeeper Paul Robinson argued that Solomon<\/a> could still return to Elland Road this summer.<\/p>\n Football Insider<\/strong> revealed on 12 August that Liverpool<\/a> plan to accept offers of \u00a320million and above for Leeds-linked Scotland winger Ben Doak<\/a>, but the 19-year-old is largely unproven compared to Solomon.<\/p>\n Doak<\/a> managed three goals and seven assists on loan at Middlesbrough last season, but those numbers are dwarfed by the 10 and 12 respectively produced by Solomon in Daniel Farke<\/a>\u2018s title-winning side.<\/p>\n Robinson previously told Football Insider<\/strong> that Solomon\u2019s path back to Elland Road is clear<\/a> after Thomas Frank missed the 26-year-old off a list of Tottenham\u2019s wide options, but Leeds<\/a> are yet to act on this.<\/p>\n Solomon is unlikely to command the \u00a320m price tag which Liverpool are demanding for Doak this summer, and Robinson added that Tottenham<\/a> won\u2019t stand in the way of a move for the Israel winger.<\/p>\n This article contains exclusive comment from Paul Robinson, a football pundit and former England, Tottenham and Leeds goalkeeper.<\/p>\n MORE FOOTBALL INSIDER STORIES<\/p>\n Leeds are finally stepping up their attacking transfer plans with an improved offer for Bilal El Khannouss<\/a> in the pipeline, and Solomon would be another sensible addition based on his performances last season.<\/p>\n Speaking on the latest Inside Track podcast<\/strong><\/a>, Robinson said that Solomon would be a much cheaper and more reliable option than Doak, particularly after the part he played in Leeds\u2019 Championship success.<\/p>\n \u201cI think a move from Manor Solomon would be first on the priority list\u201d, Robinson told Football Insider<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m not sure they\u2019d have to pay \u00a320million for Manor Solomon, although he was excellent last year. <\/p>\n \u201cIt was interesting when Thomas Frank did his post-match after [Tottenham\u2019s] pre-season friendly, when they were talking about Son leaving \u2013 Manor Solomon and Bryan Gil didn\u2019t get a mention.<\/p>\n \u201cIt makes me think that [for] Manor Solomon, he\u2019s not in Thomas Frank\u2019s thinking.\u201d<\/p>\n Farke\u2019s squad is half-ready for the Premier League<\/a> campaign ahead at Elland Road<\/a>, with the defensive half of Leeds\u2019 team reinforced by six new signings in net, central defence, central midfield and left-back.<\/p>\n Lukas Nmecha<\/a> had been the Whites\u2019 only attacking addition of the window until their U-turn on Dominic Calvert-Lewin, whose wages were deemed too expensive<\/a> before his now-imminent arrival at Elland Road. <\/p>\n![\"Liverpool](\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Ben-Doak-Everton-1-1024x576.png\")
