Andre Onana has been warned by Ruben Amorim<\/a> that his place as Manchester United’s<\/a> No.1 is under threat. Onana had a nightmare campaign at Old Trafford following his \u00a347.2million arrival from Inter Milan in the summer of 2023 and the Reds would have sold the Cameroon international if they had found a buyer to pay \u00a335million.<\/p>\n United have been forced to put their hunt for a new shot-stopper on hold – and 29-year-old Onana will start United\u2019s opening game against Arsenal<\/a> after recovering from a hamstring injury. But boss Amorim said: \u201cAndre is like the other players. They all have to win their place, so I\u2019m not going to say if one player is No.1. He\u2019s ready to go to the game, so let\u2019s wait. In 72 Premier League<\/a> appearances he has been beaten 102 times.
