A murder suspect has been charged after a man was found dead inside a home in Hockley.<\/p>\n

The man, aged in his 30s, was sadly found dead<\/a> at an address in South Road, Hockley, shortly after 5.15pm on Friday, August 15.<\/p>\n

Police said he had been stabbed to death<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A formal identification is yet to take place.<\/p>\n

Ernest Vaska, 34, of South Road, Hockley, has since been charged with the man’s murder.<\/p>\n

Vaska will appear at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Monday, August 18).<\/p>\n

Police have increased officer patrols in Hockley following the man’s death.<\/p>\n

A West Midlands Police<\/a> spokesperson said: “We have charged a man with murder after another man was stabbed at an address in Hockley on Friday, August 15.<\/p>\n

“Ernest Vaska, aged 34, of South Road, Hockley, has been charged with the murder of a man in his 30s.<\/p>\n

“He will appear before Birmingham<\/a> Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, August 18.<\/p>\n

“Formal identification is yet to take place.<\/p>\n
