An inner-city pub has Bristol’s best beer garden, according to our readers. The Farm, on Hopetoun Road, St Werburghs<\/a>, has taken the top spot in our competition.<\/p>\n The popular pub<\/a>, located next to St Werburghs City Farm, has a large garden and describes itself as “serving a good choice of drinks and having a great menu of home cooked food”.<\/p>\n The Farm has an average rating of 4.5 on Google, having had more than a thousand reviews. A recent reviewer said: “Great beer, awesome service, and even better garden!”<\/p>\n Another one went as far as describing it as his “favourite place in the world”, highlighting how kid-friendly it is. And another one said: “Solid, friendly local. Very warm when they have the fire going. Plenty of covered outside seating.”<\/p>\n The other pubs in the city that made it to our competition for the city’s best beer gardens include: Nova Scotia, on Nova Scotia Place; the Old Castle Green, Gloucester Lane, Old Market; The Farm, on Hopetoun Road, St Werburghs; the Sugarloaf, on St Marks Road, Easton<\/a>, and the Dark Horse, on Church Road, St George<\/a>.<\/p>\n In recent months, we have been looking for the best of the best in our city. In November, we revealed that a pub in Bristol city centre serves the city’s best Sunday roast<\/a>, according to our readers.<\/p>\n After more than 700 votes were cast, The Famous Royal Navy Volunteer on King Street was the clear winner after receiving 310 votes.<\/p>\n We have also found out where the city’s best greasy spoon is<\/a>. After nearly a thousand votes were cast, Abbots Kitchen on Dundry Road, in Whitchurch<\/a>, South Bristol<\/a>, became the winner after receiving 432 votes.<\/p>\n We also asked our readers to recommend the best fish and chip shop in Bristol and, after just over a thousand votes were cast<\/a>, Marios Fish Bar on Pool Road, Kingswood<\/a>, was the clear winner after receiving 586 votes.<\/p>\n Furthermore, we have found a takeaway in South Bristol serves the best Chinese food<\/a> in the city, according to our readers.<\/p>\n Earlier this year, we found a pub in East Bristol serves the city’s best pizza.
