Leeds United appear to be edging closer to completing the signing of Noah Okafor from AC Milan on the verge of the new Premier League season. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Having failed in their pursuit of winger Igor Paixao<\/a>, Leeds have been scouring Europe for a new winger to strengthen the attacking options available to Daniel Farke<\/a>. <\/p>\n

AC Milan winger Noah Okafor<\/a> has emerged as a leading target in recent days, as the Whites look to fill the void left by former loanee Manor Solomon<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Now, Leeds appear to be closing in on a deal to sign Okafor<\/a> as they prepare for their Premier League<\/a> return against Everton, with a journalist reporting that the deal is now \u201caccelerating\u201d.<\/p>\n

Having added Dominic Calvert-Lewin to their squad<\/a> ahead of the Everton game, Leeds now appear to be closing in on Okafor as their next signing. <\/p>\n

According to a post on the social media site X (formerly Twitter) by Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Luca Bianchin, Leeds and Okafor have now \u201creached an agreement\u201d on personal terms.<\/p>\n

The post states: \u201cLeeds have reached an agreement on the contract with Noah Okafor. Negotiations are accelerating.<\/p>\n

\u201cLeeds aim to finalise a permanent deal, Milan have not yet said yes and are considering.\u201d<\/p>\n

With Milan expected to demand a permanent sale<\/a>, for a fee in the region of 15 million euros, Leeds could soon complete their swoop for the Swiss international. <\/p>\n

Okafor relegated to the bench for AC Milan<\/p>\n

As news of Okafor\u2019s potential move to Leeds gathers pace, AC Milan have made a big selection call as they face Bari in the Coppa Italia. <\/p>\n

Okafor featured throughout Milan\u2019s pre-season campaign, including in the friendly against Leeds, but will not start the game against Bari. <\/p>\n

Instead, Okafor will watch from the bench for the game at the San Siro, as he edges closer to the exit at the club. <\/p>\n

No doubt Leeds fans will be delighted with this development, as it appears to add weight to the reports that he could be on his way out of Milan.<\/p>\n
