Even northern England will enjoy 26C.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The glorious sunshine and dry skies will carry on until the long weekend, with 25C highs boosting Notting Hill Carnival, festivals and staycations. But remnants of 160mph Hurricane Erin, the strongest Category 5 storm in August since 2007, are set to bring <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailystar.co.uk\/news\/latest-news\/uk-weather-maps-show-temperatures-35734715\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"wet and windy conditions from Bank Holiday MondayLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">wet and windy conditions from Bank Holiday Monday<\/a> for parts of the North and West.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/2_Summer-weather-June-21st-2025.jpg\" alt=\"weather\" loading=\"lazy\"  \/>Brits can enjoy the beach over the bank holiday(Image: PA)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The giant cyclone is currently growing in size and barrelling towards the Caribbean.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">More soggy Atlantic low pressure systems are poised to follow, although Erin could suck some warmth from the continent to the South.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">A Met Office forecaster said: \u201cThere will be sunny spells, with the warmest conditions in the West to start the week.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">\u201cAfter a cooler couple of days, widely fine and dry conditions and increasing temperatures are then expected.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">\u201cBut a deep area of low pressure linked to Erin is likely to develop in the North Atlantic, with the final week of August possibly seeing Atlantic systems progress over the UK, especially in the North and West.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">\u201cThere is a small chance of widely wetter and windier weather.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/2_JS310524550.jpg\" alt=\"remnants of 160mph Hurricane Erin\" loading=\"lazy\"  \/>Remnants of 160mph Hurricane Erin are set to bring some wet weather in the north<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailystar.co.uk\/latest\/uk-weather\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Weather<\/a> Outlook forecaster Brian Gaze said: \u201cIt will often be dry in the South and East for the Bank Holiday weekend, with possibly warm temperatures &#8211;
