\n Neneth Lyons, of Chelmsford,\u00a0has performed since\u00a0childhood and\u00a0sings regularly at events across Essex.\n<\/p>\n
\n Her 2015 X-Factor audition led to a standing ovation and subsequent profile boost.\n<\/p>\n
\n Neneth’s daughter, Elizabeth, 12,\u00a0appeared on the 2025 series of Britain\u2019s Got Talent performing Let It Go.\n<\/p>\n
\n She has gained a growing social media following and more than\u00a0200,000 YouTube views of the audition.\n<\/p>\n
\n The youngster played Young Elsa in Frozen The Musical on the West End, which was later adapted for Disney+ and released back in June.\n<\/p>\n
\n Discussing BGT whilst speaking exclusively to the Gazette,\u00a0Elizabeth, said:\u00a0\u201cI liked every moment.\n<\/p>\n
\n “At first I felt really nervous but as soon as I started singing I wasn\u2019t and had an adrenaline rush.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cIt was loud in the theatre and they were cheering non-stop\u201d added Neneth.\n<\/p>\n
\n Utilising familial and cultural ties, they each sing at local Filipino festivals too.\n<\/p>\n
\n Asked\u00a0about their differences vocally, they agreed Neneth primarily focuses on pop while Elizabeth can best adapt to the versatility of different genres.\n<\/p>\n
\n Neneth believes her daughter \u201chas a brilliant recording voice and always improving stage presence.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
\n Elizabeth’s Frozen co-stars included West End sensation Samantha Barks, who played Elsa.\n<\/p>\n
\n BBC talent show I\u2019d Do Anything launched Samantha\u2019s career and she won 2025\u2019s The Masked Singer as Pufferfish.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cI recognised Samantha hitting the high notes,\u00a0Elizabeth said.\n<\/p>\n
\n Reminiscing about Frozen, she said:\u00a0\u201cEveryone was so kind, we grew into one big family.\n<\/p>\n
\n “I\u2019d never done filming before but then watching myself on TV, oh that\u2019s me.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
\n Elizabeth continually develops triple threat skills (sing, act, dance) through training with a performing arts academy.\n<\/p>\n
\n She said: \u201cIn this industry, being a triple threat is essential. The academy helps build my confidence for performing on stage.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cShe\u2019s a very busy girl”,\u00a0Neneth\u00a0said when\u00a0describing her seven classes.\n<\/p>\n
\n Where would they each like to be in five year\u2019s time?\n<\/p>\n
\n Elizabeth said: \u201cI\u2019ll still be in school though hope to see myself in more films and musicals on the way to a professional career.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cA stage Mum. I enjoy performing but also supporting Elizabeth in everything she\u2019d like to do\u201d, Neneth added.\n<\/p>\n
