{"id":353454,"date":"2025-08-18T05:48:11","date_gmt":"2025-08-18T05:48:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/353454\/"},"modified":"2025-08-18T05:48:11","modified_gmt":"2025-08-18T05:48:11","slug":"moorish-welcomes-all-for-a-cuppa-and-a-chat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/353454\/","title":{"rendered":"Moorish welcomes all for a cuppa and a chat"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\t\t\tA NEW cafe and community hub have opened at Solihull Moors Football Club.<\/p>\n<p>The ribbon was cut at Moorish and Solihull Moors Foundation welcomed the Mayor of Solihull, Annette Mackenzie, and Solihull Council leader, Councillor Karen Grinsell for a special visit.<\/p>\n<p>The duo were welcomed by trustees, staff, stakeholders, Foundation beneficiaries and parents, as well as key local business representatives and Darryl Eales, chairman of Solihull Moors FC and long-time supporter of the Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>Moorish will be open every evening during the week and throughout the day on weekends, providing a safe, welcoming space for youngsters, families, and the wider community.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Joe Butler, community operations manager at Solihull Moors Foundation, said: \u201cThis launch marks another exciting step in the Foundation\u2019s mission to create opportunities, promote wellbeing, and make football and community support more accessible to everyone.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA huge thank you to Louie and Laura, who will be leading Moorish with unwavering passion and dedication. Their work will help ensure Moorish becomes a vibrant, community-led hub for all to enjoy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Mayor said: \u201cIt was a real pleasure to visit Solihull Moors Football Club and its Foundation and witness first-hand the incredible work they are doing, not just on the pitch but in the heart of our community.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTheir commitment to supporting children and young people through sport, education, and outreach is truly inspiring.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\t\t\t&#13;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"&#13; A NEW cafe and community hub have opened at Solihull Moors Football Club.
