‘Running Man’ star Kim Jong Kook is getting married! It’s going to be private affair, with only close friend and family, at a location in Seoul, Soompi<\/a> reported on Monday.<\/p>\n

Soompi quoted a source from Jong Kook’s agency, Turbo.JK Company, who said the event “is even more meaningful to make this new start in the significant year of this 30th debut anniversary.”<\/p>\n

The Korean entertainment news outlet also shared a transcription of Jong Kook’s handwritten letter, who admitted to feeling “even more nervous than I could have ever imagined” as he wrote the letter.<\/p>\n

“I’m getting married,” Jong Kook said, adding he “tried to drop small hints here and there but I’m sure there are many people who feel as if this came suddenly.”<\/p>\n

“This is my 30th debut anniversary, and instead of making the album I wanted, I made my ‘other half’ instead. Still please congratulate and support me,” Jong Kook said.<\/p>\n

“The wedding will take place sometime soon on a scale that is not too big with family, close friends and a few acquaintances,” Jong Kook added, thanking and calling his fans his “greatest strength for a such a long time.”<\/p>\n

“I am getting married and taking on a new challenge in life again,” he wrote as he promised to “continue to work harder and live diligently as Kim Jong Kook.”<\/p>\n

The South Korean celebrity was in Manila earlier this year to attend the first\u00a0Waterbomb event<\/a>\u00a0in Manila.<\/p>\n
