(Credit: Imago)Leeds need to get rid of Wober permanently

Wober clearly has no future under Farke in Yorkshire; he hardly kicked a ball in the second tier last season for the Peacocks.

He has had his fair share of injury issues in his time with the LS11 outfit, and it is no surprise that he is injured once again.

It makes sense for both parties to seek a permanent exit, as it has just not worked out for the 27-year-old since his move from Red Bull Salzburg.

Wober signed for Leeds in 2023

Made 28 appearances for the Whites, with one goal to his name

Missed 23 games for club and country since moving to Leeds

The Whites have made several additions to their backline, which would push him even further down the pecking order if he were to return.

Therefore, he will likely seek a departure when his loan spell concludes at the end of the season, and hopefully, the club can pick up a tidy fee for his services.

He has previously spoken of his desire to make the move to Bremen on a full-time basis, and that may be the best solution for all involved.

Whether the German side would be interested, given his injury record, though, remains to be seen.

Sign up for the MOT Leeds News WhatsApp channel and turn on notifications to have all the latest, breaking Leeds United news sent straight to your phone.

(Credit: Imago) Mon 18 August 2025 10:31, UK Leeds United loanee Max Wober has suffered another injury setback.…

[8814
748,393,4884,1860,52641,16,15
0":"post-353927","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-leeds","8":"tag-britain","9":"tag-england","10":"tag-great-britain","11":"tag-leeds","12":"tag-max-wober","13":"tag-uk","14":"tag-united-kingdom
["GET
