Illan Meslier is expected to leave Leeds United in the next few days as multiple Ligue 1 clubs are lining up formal offers for his signature.<\/strong><\/p>\n That is according to former Man United and Sunderland chief scout Mick Brown<\/a>, who remains very well-connected within the game, as he exclusively told Football Insider<\/strong> that the 25-year-old is keen to return to his home country before the window closes.<\/p>\n Daniel Farke has given the go-ahead for the goalkeeper\u2019s sale following the arrival of Lucas Perri, and there is now a growing feeling that a new offer will be accepted.<\/p>\n Brown told Football Insider<\/strong> in April that Leeds would be open to offers for Meslier<\/a> after completing a deal for his replacement as work was already underway.<\/p>\n The \u00a315.6million arrival of Perri from Lyon last month all but confirmed the Frenchman\u2019s role under Farke, with Karl Darlow expected to resume his role as second-choice.<\/p>\n Farke is believed to have made the decision about Meslier\u2019s future last season following significant errors in games against Portsmouth<\/a>, Sunderland<\/a> and Hull Meslier<\/a> and hoped to move him on when the summer window opened.<\/p>\n Now, the former scout who has a wealth of experience in top-level player recruitment after over a decade at Man United during their most successful period, has insisted the Frenchman is finally edging closer to a move away from Elland Road.<\/p>\n \u201cLeeds are still looking to get rid of Meslier,\u201d he told Football Insider.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cThere are a few clubs in France who I hear are lining up offers, and that\u2019s a move he would like to make to go back to his home country.<\/p>\n \u201cHis position at Leeds has been in serious doubt for a while.<\/p>\n \u201cThe manager doesn\u2019t trust him, he made far too many errors last season and I think that\u2019s when the decision was made to get somebody else in.<\/p>\n \u201cNow they\u2019ve gone and done that, it\u2019s time for Meslier to move on.<\/p>\n \u201cI think if any of those interested clubs make a move, it could be done very quickly, probably in the next few days because all parties want to do a deal.<\/p>\n \u201cThey want him gone, he\u2019s happy to go, and there are clubs who want to bring him in.\u201d<\/p>\n Daniel Farke tipped to complete Manor Solomon transfer<\/strong><\/p>\n While outgoing deals remain a possibility at Elland Road, Farke is still keen to strengthen his squad with new additions before the transfer window closes.<\/p>\n Former Leeds goalkeeper Paul Robinson told Football Insider<\/strong> on 16 August that Manor Solomon should be Leeds\u2019 priority<\/a> before the window closes.<\/p>\n The winger has been a key target following his successful loan spell last season and there is a growing expectation that he could leave Tottenham.<\/p>\n Robinson previously told
