Police were called to Edinburgh\u2019s Leonardo building this morning after protestors blocked the entrance.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Shortly after 6am\u00a0a \u2018specially adapted\u2019 van was parked across the factory entrance in Crewe Road North.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Campaigners say that hope to disrupt the supply chain to the deadly F-35 war planes.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for the campaign group Shut Down Leonardo said: \u201cWith most world leaders either ignoring Israel\u2019s genocide in Gaza, or actively involved in it, we cannot look aside while our Palestinian brothers and sisters are being exterminated. By shutting down\u00a0Leonardo we hope to disrupt the supply chain to the deadly F-35 war planes.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: \u201cAround 6.15am on Monday, 18 August, 2025, we were called to a report of a protest outside a business premises in the Crewe Road North area of Edinburgh.\u00a0 Officers are in attendance and enquiries are ongoing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Campaign group Shut Down Leonardo previously targeted the premises\u00a0on July 15, allegedly driving a van into fence surrounding the factory.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Three women were arrested.<\/p>\n
