This event reportedly marked a pivotal moment in introducing the soon-to-be royal bride. Hence, many eyes were on Markle\u2019s gestures.<\/p>\n<p>According to a clip on X (formerly Twitter), the couple approached a man to greet him. It looked like Prince Harry and his then-fianc\u00e9e were going for a handshake at the same time. They supposedly bumped into each other, but the duke immediately took a step back and let his woman lead. Body language expert Judi James referred to the same incident and told the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/royals\/article-14993221\/Moment-Prince-Harry-signalled-change-breaking-protocol-meghan-markle.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Daily Mail<\/a> that Markle walking in front of Harry signaled a change in the royal rule.<\/p>\n<p>She highlighted that the prompt step back appeared to be a \u201csmall body language reset for Harry.\u201d He has been performing the \u201ctraditional royal role\u201d all his life. \u201cBut what we saw here was the green shoots of Meghan inducting Harry into the etiquette of non-royal life,\u201d James added. She claimed that the \u201cSuits\u201d alum\u2019s \u201csocial confidence glow\u201d was visible when she greeted people at the event. On the other hand, \u201cHarry\u2019s insecurities rise closer to the surface.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>James also pointed out that Harry was ready to jump into \u201ccorrection mode,\u201d instead of Markle.
