{"id":355302,"date":"2025-08-18T23:03:12","date_gmt":"2025-08-18T23:03:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/355302\/"},"modified":"2025-08-18T23:03:12","modified_gmt":"2025-08-18T23:03:12","slug":"equinox-ev-boosts-gms-good-run-in-the-united-states","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/355302\/","title":{"rendered":"Equinox EV Boosts GM&#8217;s Good Run in the United States"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"art_image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/2025-chevrolet-equinox-ev-lt-303.jpg\" alt=\"Equinox EV Boosts GM\u2019s Good Run in the United States\"\/><\/p>\n<p>General Motors set a new record for electric vehicle sales in the US market last July with the delivery of more than 19,000 units, representing a 115% increase over the same month in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>This milestone was led by the Chevy Equinox EV, produced alongside the Blazer EV and Honda Prologue in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, with more than 8,500 units sold during the seventh month of the year.<\/p>\n<p>July was not only the best sales month for the zero-emission version of this popular SUV, but also represents the highest monthly figure for any model in this segment not belonging to the Tesla range to date.<\/p>\n<p>Several analysts have anticipated an increase in demand for electric vehicles as the expiration date approaches for a program in the neighboring country that grants tax benefits to consumers who purchase these types of vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>It is estimated that in July alone, sales increased by 8.5%.<\/p>\n<p>Among those who witnessed this upturn firsthand is Isidro Bomnin, vice president of Bomnin Automotive, which operates two dealerships in South Florida that are among the top-selling Chevrolet electric vehicle agencies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Equinox EV is attracting new consumers to the brand, who are drawn to an affordable electric vehicle with a range of more than 315 miles per charge,\u201d said the executive.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe first thing that catches their eye is the appearance and design.
