Charley Hull has showed off the result of the freak ankle injury that forced her to pull out of an event earlier this month.<\/p>\n

The English golfer withdrew from the PIF London Championship after tripping over a curb in the parking lot, as she said she heard her ankle pop and ‘nearly fainted’ in the immediate aftermath.<\/p>\n

And after being sidelined by the injury, Hull has shared pictures to social media of herself in a walking boot.<\/p>\n

On Monday, the 29-year-old posted a picture to her Instagram story wearing the ‘moon boot’ in a weight room.<\/p>\n

She had previously posted another photo of the walking boot as she held a baby and posed for the camera.<\/p>\n

‘Life lately = family, friends, puppy cuddles and a moon boot,’ she captioned that\u00a0Instagram carousel post<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Hull said she ‘nearly fainted’ after suffering the freak injury at a parking lot<\/p>\n

She also shared a photo of herself wearing the boot while holding a baby<\/p>\n

After missing the PIF London Championship, Hull said she was ‘devastated’ not to be competing.<\/p>\n

She explained that she had a ‘skip in her step’ as she tried to make her way to practice before the freak injury occurred.<\/p>\n

‘The security guard was watching me and I heard my ankle pop. I thought I broke it. Someone picked me up and put me in the car,’ she told reporters<\/a>.<\/p>\n

‘I went down so quickly, I nearly fainted. I was not sure if I was overreacting. I started moving my ankle and it’s nowhere near as bad as I thought.<\/p>\n

‘I don’t do it on purpose, I’m naturally clumsy,’ she continued. ‘My sister is the clumsiest person I know, and I used to make fun of her for it.<\/p>\n

‘I fell over in the middle of the road about two years ago. It runs in my dad’s genes.’<\/p>\n

Hull also withdrew from the\u00a0Evian Championship after collapsing twice in the first roun<\/p>\n

The injury came after another unfortunate setback for Hull, who was forced to withdraw from the\u00a0Evian Championship in July\u00a0after collapsing twice on the course.<\/p>\n

She had been battling a virus and was ultimately unable to continue as she was stretchered off during the first round of the tournament.<\/p>\n

Hull followed up that disappointment by finishing tied for second\u00a0in the AIG Women\u2019s Open.<\/p>\n

Hull also recently mourned the loss of her German Shepherd, Esmee.<\/p>\n

The golfer had previously lost her German Shepherd, Bella, in 2023.<\/p>\n

\u201cRest in peace, my beautiful baby girl Esmee. You was the best, so sad,’ Hull wrote as she shared a picture of the dogs on social media.<\/p>\n

‘Now you\u2019re back reunited with Bella, just like this picture. Have fun up there in doggy heaven.’<\/p>\n
