\n\tPrince William<\/a> has allegedly laid out a plan to deal with his disgraced uncle, Prince Andrew<\/a>, once he becomes king.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe 43-year-old is next in line to the throne and seems to be the first person in his family who is willing to take action against Andrew, whose many scandals<\/a> have marred the British Royal Family<\/a>\u2018s reputation in recent years. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWilliam is far more hard-nosed than Charles when it comes to protecting the monarchy\u2019s reputation,\u201d a former courtier told Radar Online<\/a>. \u201cHe\u2019s fully aware of the harm Andrew has caused to the monarchy\u2019s reputation and won\u2019t shy away from actions his grandmother or father may have steered clear of.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe source added that William may consider trying to strip Andrew of his royal titles, saying, \u201cAndrew\u2019s dukedom could be up for discussion when William takes the throne.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWilliam, who reportedly has personal issues with his father\u2019s younger brother due to comments Andrew has made about Kate Middleton<\/a>, reportedly outlined a plan that would involve looking to Parliament for help.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe monarch has the power to revoke HRH titles, but William would need government backing to strip Andrew\u2019s prince title, something he is reportedly considering. <\/p>\n

\n\tAndrew resigned from public duties in 2020 amid criticism over his association with convicted child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein<\/a>. In 2022, while Andrew was facing a lawsuit from one of Epstein\u2019s accusers, Virginia Giuffre, who claimed she was sex trafficked to the prince at age 17, Queen Elizabeth II stripped her son of his military titles and charitable patronages. Andrew settled the case<\/a> out of court in February 2022, paying Giuffre an undisclosed sum.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the years since, Andrew was reportedly locked in a dispute with King Charles III<\/a>, fighting to stay in his Royal Lodge home despite it costing millions of dollars a year to maintain. Andrew has since \u201cwon\u201d this dispute<\/a>. However, with his nephew next in line for the throne, his days of reaping the benefits of being in the Royal Family might be dwindling. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe public deserves to know their monarchy is free from scandal,\u201d William reportedly told his inner circle, per Radar Online.<\/p>\n
