A much-loved pub has reopened with a fresh new look following a significant investment. Hare & Hounds pub near Ramsbottom has reopened just in time for the 2025\/2026 football season following a six-figure refurbishment.<\/p>\n

The Greene King pub on Bolton<\/a> Road West has had an extensive refurbishment inside and out. Located in the picturesque village of Holcombe Brook, the pub serves up a wide selection of food and drink including classics such as pies, burgers and fish and chips.<\/p>\n

Hare & Hounds general manager, Gillian Godfrey said: “We\u2019re really pleased to welcome customers back to the Hare & Hounds and show off our new season\u2019s look!<\/p>\n

“We\u2019ve missed seeing our regulars while works have been completed and we look forward to catching up with familiar and new faces from across the local community and beyond.<\/p>\n

\u201cFollowing significant investment, the Hare & Hounds has been revamped to provide guests with top quality facilities.<\/p>\n

First impressions and kerb appeal have been boosted with new signage and outdoor furniture.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, inside, customers will see the pub has been redecorated with new flooring, furniture, lighting and artwork, including fully refurbished toilets.<\/p>\n

Doors reopened to punters on August 14 and many can now enjoy live TV sports from Sky Sports and TNT Sports with additional TVs and a new sound system, ensuring a wide range of entertainment.<\/p>\n

Other events now back on at the pub include include a weekly Friday Night Live showcase which takes place his lively on the last Friday of every month.<\/p>\n

Every event showcases an eclectic mix of live music, from local talent to emerging artists across genres.<\/p>\n

On the menu at Hare & Hounds, customers can choose from a wide variety of options including small plates encompassing Chicken Shawarma Tacos, Halloumi Fries and corn ribs, alongside mains such as Whitby Scampi & Chips, Hunter’s Chicken and Lasagne.<\/p>\n

There’s also beef and ale pie, as well as chicken and ham pie, alongside an extensive burger menu, grilled meats and a large selection of sides. Desserts include Triple Chocolate Brownie, Caramelised Biscuit Cheesecake and Jam Roly Poly Pudding.<\/p>\n
