The video shared by a page, Evry.day Club, shows the host, Ryan James, asking Ruth about the secret to <a class=\"backlink\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hindustantimes.com\/lifestyle\/health\/gut-health-specialist-shares-his-7-day-gut-reset-plan-for-longevity-101754985346773.html\" data-vars-page-type=\"story\" data-vars-link-type=\"Manual\" data-vars-anchor-text=\"longevity\" rel=\"noopener\">longevity<\/a> and her fitness as she works out on the seated elliptical machine. In today\u2019s interview, Ruth shares her secret to living healthy at 100, her daily workout routine, and what she eats.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When asked what she does to stay so fit and look so great at her age, the 100-year-old woman, who has a 78-year-old daughter who accompanies her to the gym, revealed the secret to her longevity. She said, \u201cWhen I retired, I started <a class=\"backlink\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hindustantimes.com\/lifestyle\/health\/struggling-to-complete-10k-step-target-fitness-coach-shares-5-tips-to-walk-10000-steps-every-single-day-without-fail-101755512740102.html\" data-vars-page-type=\"story\" data-vars-link-type=\"Manual\" data-vars-anchor-text=\"walking four miles a day\" rel=\"noopener\">walking four miles a day<\/a>, and that&#8217;s just what keeps you going. You look it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>   How did the internet react? <\/p>\n<p>Ruth&#8217;s dedication to fitness impressed the internet. One Instagram user commented under her video, \u201cShe\u2019s 100 and has her health!!! She is so rich!\u201d Another wrote, \u201cMy neighbour is 90, she bikes 7 miles a day and walks 2-3 miles every day.
