(Photo by Shaun Botterill\/Getty Images)\" class=\"wp-image-333894\" title=\"Brentford &amp; Aston Villa join race for Arsenal forward 2\" \/>Photo by Shaun Botterill\/Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>John Cross reports for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/sport\/football\/transfer-news\/arsenal-transfers-arteta-next-signing-35751843\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mirror<\/a> that <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycannon.com\/tag\/leandro-trossard\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Leandro Trossard<\/a> is the most likely Arsenal player to go at this stage, with Brentford, Aston Villa, and several clubs overseas showing an interest in the Belgian international.<\/p>\n<p>James McNicholas confirms for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/athletic\/6559975\/2025\/08\/19\/transfer-latest-eberechi-eze-marc-guehi-arsenal-manchester-united-liverpool-tottenham-hotspur\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Athletic<\/a> that Arsenal would be open to selling Trossard for the right price this summer.<\/p>\n<p>Trossard returned from injury to feature in Arsenal\u2019s squad against Manchester United at the weekend, but he didn\u2019t come on.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"666\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/arsenal-fc-v-ac-milan-pre-season-friendly-3.jpg\" alt=\"Arsenal injury updates - SINGAPORE, SINGAPORE: Leandro Trossard of Arsenal controls the ball against Samuel Chukwueze of AC Milan during the Pre-Season Friendly match between Arsenal FC and AC Milan at the National Stadium on July 23, 2025. (Photo by Yong Teck Lim\/Getty Images)\" class=\"wp-image-334541\" title=\"Brentford &amp; Aston Villa join race for Arsenal forward 3\" \/>Photo by Yong Teck Lim\/Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>Sami Mokbel <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycannon.com\/2025\/08\/arsenal-trossard-set-to-leave\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a> for the BBC last week that Trossard is indeed among the players set to leave Arsenal this summer.<\/p>\n<p>Mokbel had previously reported that he\u2019d recently heard there was a chance Trossard could go, telling the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/live\/Oogbli7oOFI?si=mEV5HuTAFI6NR0my\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Latte Firm<\/a> YouTube channel that negotiations on a contract extension had failed to progress over the summer.<\/p>\n<p>Arsenal initially held positive conversations with Trossard\u2019s camp over a new deal, but their offer remains unsigned, indicating the player is now exploring his options.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"693\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/arsenal-fc-v-newcastle-united-fc-premier-league-2.jpg\" alt=\"LONDON, ENGLAND: Leandro Trossard of Arsenal during the Premier League match between Arsenal FC and Newcastle United FC at Emirates Stadium on May 18, 2025. (Photo by Shaun Botterill\/Getty Images)\" class=\"wp-image-333893\" title=\"Brentford &amp; Aston Villa join race for Arsenal forward 4\" \/>Photo by Shaun Botterill\/Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>With at least four clubs interested in signing the 30-year-old winger, it does look like a transfer is much more likely than for many of Arsenal\u2019s other fringe squad members.<\/p>\n<p>The likes of <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycannon.com\/tag\/reiss-nelson\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Reiss Nelson<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycannon.com\/tag\/oleksandr-zinchenko\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Oleksandr Zinchenko<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycannon.com\/tag\/albert-sambi-lokonga\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Albert Sambi Lokonga<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycannon.com\/tag\/fabio-vieira\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fabio Vieira<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycannon.com\/tag\/karl-hein\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Karl Hein<\/a> are seemingly up for sale, but with only one or two interested parties in each case. That makes it difficult to negotiate a decent price for their departures.<\/p>\n<p>But Arsenal aren\u2019t much closer to selling Trossard right now, with no reports of official bids being placed.
