Its status as the region\u2019s capital and economic hub makes it a popular area for buyers in this region, as well as its relative affordability compared to other areas in the UK.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>2024 sees highest prices<\/p>\n<p>Last year saw the highest prices for England (\u00a3336,934), Scotland (\u00a3395,810), and Wales (\u00a3243,922).<\/p>\n<p>Northern Ireland generally exhibits the lowest average property prices, having peaked in 2022 (\u00a3227,853). Unsurprisingly, London consistently maintained the highest average property price for the five-year period compared to other UK regions, at \u00a3467,152.<\/p>\n<p>Rachel Geddes, strategic lender relationship director at MAB, said: \u201cOur data paints a clear picture: buyer confidence and demand are soaring.
