{"id":35737,"date":"2025-04-20T13:58:28","date_gmt":"2025-04-20T13:58:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/35737\/"},"modified":"2025-04-20T13:58:28","modified_gmt":"2025-04-20T13:58:28","slug":"body-found-in-leeds-city-centre","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/35737\/","title":{"rendered":"Body found in Leeds City Centre"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Police are investigating the circumstances of a body found in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.examinerlive.co.uk\/all-about\/leeds\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Leeds;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Leeds<\/a> City Centre.<\/p>\n<p>A body of a man was found near Whitehall Road on Friday morning, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.examinerlive.co.uk\/all-about\/west-yorkshire-police\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:West Yorkshire Police;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">West Yorkshire Police<\/a> have confirmed. Officers were called before 8am to the junction with Globe road where the man was found deceased.<\/p>\n<p>A large number or emergency service crew attended as a cordon put into place. Fire crew and water team were also on the scene and motorists were diverted away from the area.<\/p>\n<p>A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: &#8220;At 7.48 this morning police were called to Whitehall Road at the junction with Globe Road where a man had been found deceased.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;A scene was put in place which has since been removed.
