\n From a drag King to a hairdresser and a creative\u00a0entrepreneur, the new series will see Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding return as hosts and\u00a0Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood returning to judge.\n<\/p>\n
\n Among the 12 contestants, all hoping to win the crown, are four bakers from London.\n<\/p>\n
\n Ahead of the series starting in early September, we’ve rounded up the four hopeful Londoners taking part in The Great British Bake Off for 2025.\n<\/p>\n

Jessika<\/p>\n
\n Drag king and service designer Jessika, who was raised in Cornwall, said she was alone at her friend\u2019s house when she got the call to be in the show.\n<\/p>\n
\n The 32-year-old said: \u201cSeeing the big white tent for the first time was so weird. I\u2019ve watched the show for years, and entertained the idea that, potentially, maybe, one day, this girl could quite possibly bake up a storm for the judges.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cBut it didn\u2019t really hit me until I was standing at my workstation, apron on, looking around at the other bakers and thinking, \u2018Welp, girl, you made it!’\u201d\n<\/p>\n

Tom<\/p>\n
\n 31-year-old Tom is a Creative Entrepreneur who grew up in London and learnt how to bake\u00a0alongside his Mum and Danish Granny.\n<\/p>\n
\n After stepping back from the\u00a0advertising agency he created, Tom has more time to focus on his love for food and creativity.\n<\/p>\n
\n Tom grew up in a food-obsessed family, and when not working, you can find him fishing for Sea Bass with his brother, foraging for mushrooms and cooking roasts with his dad.\n<\/p>\n

Jasmine<\/p>\n
\n Jasmine is a 23-year-old medical student born and raised in Edinburgh who now lives\u00a0with her cousins in London while she completes her medical degree.\n<\/p>\n
\n She learnt the basics of bread and cakes through her Mum and aunts, and has fond memories of batch baking for big family get-togethers during holidays in the Scottish Highlands.\n<\/p>\n
\n When she\u2019s not in hospital placements, Jasmine\u2019s likely sea swimming, running half marathons or playing hockey for her university team.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
