Elenika Has Already Won Six Races This Season<\/strong> <\/strong>\/ HLP<\/p>\n

LA PLATA.- No horse in Argentina has won as many races in 2025 as\u00a0Elenika<\/strong>, the standout filly who dominates the La Plata sophomore division and is now on the verge of chasing a seventh victory.<\/p>\n

Barely days removed from her decisive score in the Polla (G2), the daughter of\u00a0Winning Prize<\/strong>\u00a0has been confirmed for the\u00a0Cl\u00e1sico Diego White (G3, 1700m, dirt)<\/strong>, a key prep for the\u00a0Gran Premio Selecci\u00f3n de Potrancas (G1)<\/strong>, set for Tuesday, August 26.<\/p>\n

She will face seven rivals:\u00a0Evelia<\/strong>\u00a0(Daddy Long Legs),\u00a0La Banda<\/strong>\u00a0(Fortify),\u00a0Filly\u2019s Time<\/strong>\u00a0(Annals of Time),\u00a0Mis Locuras<\/strong>(Manipulator),\u00a0Nevada Top<\/strong>\u00a0(Puerto Escondido),\u00a0Counting Stars<\/strong>\u00a0(Strategos), and\u00a0La Graviere<\/strong>\u00a0(Seahenge).<\/p>\n

That same afternoon, the\u00a0Cl\u00e1sico Jockey Club de C\u00f3rdoba<\/strong>\u00a0(2200m, 4yo+), part of the lead-up to the\u00a0Gran Premio Dardo Rocha (G1)<\/strong>, will also be contested. Among the nominees are\u00a0Sofware<\/strong>\u00a0(Treasure Beach),\u00a0Che Banquero<\/strong>(Greenspring),\u00a0Buen Escos\u00e9s<\/strong>\u00a0(Bodemeister),\u00a0Joy Artista<\/strong>\u00a0(Fortify),\u00a0El Emporio<\/strong>\u00a0(Il Campione),\u00a0Sue\u00f1o Turco<\/strong>\u00a0(Remote),\u00a0Look Portal<\/strong>\u00a0(Portal del Alto),\u00a0Real Craf<\/strong>\u00a0(Mastercraftsman),\u00a0Tambaqui<\/strong>\u00a0(True Cause),\u00a0Best Portal<\/strong>\u00a0(Portal del Alto) and\u00a0Lomo Plateado<\/strong>\u00a0(Manipulator).<\/p>\n

Two days later, on Thursday, August 28, attention will turn to the colts with the\u00a0Cl\u00e1sico Jos\u00e9 Pedro Ram\u00edrez (G3, 1700m)<\/strong>, serving as the bridge between the Polla (G3) and the\u00a0Cl\u00e1sico Jockey Club de la Provincia de Buenos Aires (G3)<\/strong>, the latter carrying a\u00a0ARS 5 million bonus<\/strong>\u00a0for the winner.<\/p>\n

Seven were confirmed, including\u00a0Sono Perfetto<\/strong>\u00a0(Tetaze), runner-up to\u00a0Winston<\/strong>\u00a0(Forge) in the Isidoro Aramburu (G3); classic winner\u00a0Vampiro Zen<\/strong>\u00a0(Zensational); and\u00a0Un Infierno<\/strong>\u00a0(Dabster), third in the first leg of the local Triple Crown.<\/p>\n
