Liverpool are gunning for another Premier League title this season, and we could see young players emerge in Arne Slot\u2019s plans.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Liverpool<\/a> clinched the Premier League title last season as Arne Slot<\/a> enjoyed a dream first season at Anfield.<\/p>\n

The Reds are now looking make it two in a row, and have pulled off some serious recruitment in an attempt to keep top spot.<\/p>\n

Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong, Milos Kerkez and Hugo Ekitike have all arrived at Anfield, while Liverpool secured Parma talent Giovanni Leoni<\/a> last week.<\/p>\n

Liverpool continue to chase Alexander Isak<\/a> as well, with the Newcastle United forward a club-record target ahead of the transfer deadline.<\/p>\n

All of those players have major potential for the future, as Liverpool look to build a title-contending team for years to come.<\/p>\n

Alongside talented young imports, Liverpool fans will also expect to see homegrown talents emerge.<\/p>\n

The buzz is building around Rio Ngumoha<\/a>, while midfielder Trey Nyoni has shown flashes of his potential.<\/p>\n

Both of those players were signed from other English clubs, and Reds fans would love to see more Liverpudlians emerge in the coming years.<\/p>\n

Trent Alexander-Arnold\u2019s move to Real Madrid<\/a> means Curtis Jones is the sole Scouser in Slot\u2019s first-team picture at Liverpool.<\/p>\n

Liverpudlian stars will hopefully emerge in the near future, and former Reds academy coach Michael Beale has now heaped praise on the club\u2019s academy.<\/p>\n

Speaking on The Business of Sport, Beale picked out Liverpool as the one club where he would like to go and coach at youth level once again.<\/p>\n

Beale previously worked at Liverpool and claims there is \u2018something in the water\u2019 in the region, believing that Liverpudlians have great character about them \u2013 and will \u2018always\u2019 develop with the right coaching.<\/p>\n

Beale praised Liverpool\u2019s Academy Director Alex Inglethorpe and doesn\u2019t want to snatch his job, but praised Liverpool as \u2018special\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s something in the water in Liverpool, in terms of what the players bring, in terms of just the people,\u201d said Beale.<\/p>\n

\u201cLondon is so much more diverse, and I loved my time at Chelsea, but in Liverpool, there\u2019s something in the water in terms of the character of the people, that I think they\u2019ll always develop, and then if your coaching problem can blend in with that, then I think you have a real chance.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy best friend is the academy manager there, so I\u2019m not trying to do him out of a job, and\u00a0Alex, you\u2019re doing a wonderful job and last year they had the most minutes in the Premier League for homegrown players in front of Chelsea \u2013 the two clubs that I previously worked at many years ago.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a special club, and I think that one is a good one,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Liverpool have sold young talent this summer<\/strong><\/p>\n

As Liverpool bring in talented players, a number have been sold to help balance the books.<\/p>\n

Tyler Morton has been sold to Lyon<\/a>, Jarell Quansah has joined Bayer Leverkusen<\/a>, and Bournemouth snapped up Ben Gannon Doak<\/a> this week.<\/p>\n

Liverpool ultimately have to make difficult decisions, and may have felt that the money was simply too good to turn down offers for those three players.<\/p>\n

Others may well go in the near future as well, as Liverpool can only keep the youngsters who they truly believe can reach the top of the game.<\/p>\n
