{"id":358295,"date":"2025-08-20T02:21:12","date_gmt":"2025-08-20T02:21:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/358295\/"},"modified":"2025-08-20T02:21:12","modified_gmt":"2025-08-20T02:21:12","slug":"liverpool-nursery-to-host-two-day-wellbeing-festival-for-children-next-month","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/358295\/","title":{"rendered":"Liverpool nursery to host two-day wellbeing festival for children next month"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Liverpool nursery K8z Cheeky Monkeyz have announced a huge two day wellbeing festival for children on\u00a0Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th September.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Next Generation Festival\u00a0is taking place on sacred land near Corwen, North Wales, and will feature a wide range of activities \u2014 from games and assault courses to meditation and yoga.<\/p>\n<p>Next Generation Festival\u00a0will include wellbeing practises such as yoga, meditation, mindfulness, sound baths, massage, counselling and sharing circles. Meanwhile, activities include things such as assault courses, swimming, kayaking, forest school, arts and crafts, circuit training, self defence and more. With three separate tents for different age groups, there\u2019s a wide range of activities for all ages of children.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"981\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/NEXTGEN1-e1755654445555.jpg\" alt=\"Next Generation Festival\" class=\"wp-image-224621\"\/>Credit: Next Generation Festival<\/p>\n<p>The exciting new concept is being hosted by Katie Forster and a team of children\u2019s wellbeing experts, with the aim of helping children get over the back to school blues and focus on wellbeing and creativity. The festival has a big focus on inclusivity and neurodivergency, with fully trained facilitators and wrist bands available for children who prefer no physical contact.<\/p>\n<p>Activities run all day over the two days, although parents and children can stay over all weekend. Camping is available from the Friday night and tickets start from just \u00a350 per child and \u00a315 per adult \u2014 with full three day camping tickets at just \u00a3140 per child and \u00a350 per adult \u2014 very affordable given the wide range of activities on offer. There\u2019ll also be a wide range of food stalls and festival facilities on site.<\/p>\n<p>Organiser Katie Forster said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNext Generation Festival is about getting as many people who are passionate about working with children to come together to collaborate and showcase all the different, wonderful things that are on offer for them. It\u2019s about getting children and parents off their devices, in nature and spending quality time together away from the stresses that come with our busy lives.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She continued:\u00a0\u201cI\u2019ve had the pleasure of being part of many different festivals and I feel there either isn\u2019t anything for kids and parents like this with a big focus on wellbeing. There will be over 60 activities and a beautiful team of space holders, all very experienced in working with children \u2014 putting their hearts and magic together to create a wonderful event for you and your family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"495\" height=\"708\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/NEXTGENFLYER.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-224624\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Katie has vast experience working with children during the past 24 years. With an impressive array of qualifications, she is\u00a0a Nursery Owner, Childminder, Nursery Nurse, Children\u2019s Fitness Instructor, Reflex Yoga Instructor, Youth Worker, Children\u2019s Mindfulness Coach, Children\u2019s Yoga Teacher, Baby Massage Therapist, Neurological Development SEN Specialist,\u00a0Yotism Instructor (Yoga for Autism), Health &amp; Safety Officer, Safeguarding Officer, Fire Marshal, Mental Health Coach, First Aider and Lifeguard.<\/p>\n<p>Katie summarised:\u00a0\u201cWe really can\u2019t wait for this wholesome, inclusive and fun weekend of activities and connection that will nourish the souls of both children and parents. In today\u2019s society where these things are lacking, it\u2019s a wonderful opportunity to come together in nature and escape from the daily grind \u2014 focusing on the simple things and wellbeing that are so important yet we forget about.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Next Generation Festival\u00a0is taking place on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th September 2025, with weekend camping available from the Friday night.
